Standards have control numbers or SCNs (standard control number). Each SCN is mapped to different compass controls or custom controls (created by the org).
Controls associated with the standard need to be implemented for the company to remain compliant. Controls will have tasks under them that are assigned to different people to implement them, for example upload policies/artefacts etc.
Once a company is onboarded, relevant standards and controls mapped to those standards are pushed into the Compass platform by default.
